From the USA TODAY NETWORK and YouTube, it’s VRtually There, a weekly adventure with three cool VR experiences.

Take a VR tour of a Pearl Harbor Japanese midget submarine!

One of the most peculiar naval vessels employed in the battle of Pearl Harbor is the Japanese midget submarine. One such vessel, manned by Ensign Kazuo Sakamaki, failed in its mission to attack and destroy American warships.

What must it have been like on that narrow, suffocating submarine?

The Japanese midget sub spanned only six feet at its widest point and had an operating temperature of 135 degrees Fahrenheit – it was like an underwater sauna.

Experience a stirring VR reenactment of the attack on Pearl Harbor!

Dec. 7, 1941 is a day that will live on in infamy, but for survivors and aerial artists, it’s a day that lives on literally – through stirring reenactments. Hop aboard a 360 degree first-hand flight with the aviators who recreate the aerial assault on Pearl harbor.

A team of experienced pilots travels the country recreating the infamous attack on Pearl Harbor, and paying tribute to the fallen. Hear survivors, in their own voices, recount their experiences that fateful day, their lives changed forever amidst fire, smoke and dive-bombing planes.

Find your inner peace with a VR tour of gorgeous Badlands National Park!

Southwest South Dakota is home to 242,756 acres of the most beautiful, untouched land you’ll find in the country: Badlands National Park. It’s majestic, isolated, peaceful … wouldn’t you just love to go there now?

The Badlands is home to the largest undisturbed mixed grass prairie in the United States, where bison and other wildlife graze freely. But the land is also decorated with dramatic pinnacles and spires that catch the sunrise just so, painting the cliff faces a vibrant red.

Take a breath. Take it in. And don’t forget to look around!
