360º Surrounded by Lemurs - Perth Zoo - Australia 4K

Thanks to Perth Zoo http://www.perthzoo.com.au for the awesome Lemur Island Close Encounter experience. Lemurs are such funny and curious animals, all with unique personalities.

You can take a private tour of lemur island in the zoo. We suited up in waders as you have to walk through the water to Lemur Island and boy are they excited to see you went you arrive.

Sadly these Black and White Ruffed Lemurs (Varecia variegate) are critically endangered as 90% of their habitat has been destroyed. As if things weren’t bad enough, they’re also hunted for food and the pet trade. Check out more of Perth Zoo's conservation efforts here.

The Gopro cameras were setup in the non-waterproof freedom360 rig attached to a monopod mounted to tripod.

To view the real impact of this video watch it using your smartphone on a Virtual Reality headset - from Google Cardboard, Samsung Gear VR to an Oculus Rift.
