Hear the captivating stories of the battlefield as you are joined by a returning soldier and share the emotional experience of the return home. As the journey continues to the present day, focus turns to the changes of the last 100 years, and the impact of migration on the world today. Empire Soldiers was originally developed as a Virtual Reality exhibition, touring throughout the UK to mark the centenary of the end of World War One. Empire Soldiers: A South Asian Story, is part of a planned series of short VR films made to remember the forgotten contributions of soldiers from across the former British Empire.
