Activists and artists of all ages gathered to make signs, art and music at the Democracy Cafe, a creative workshop at the O'Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley on January 14, 2018.
In just a few hours, they created dozens of inspiring signs for the Women’s March, as well as decorated blue flags and Liberty figures. They practiced protest songs with the Freedom Singers in the beautiful sculpture garden.
Democracy Cafe helps people connect at a deeper level and use their creativity for social change -- mixing arts and politics through fun, hands-on, collaborative activities.
