About the Friendship Games
The Friendship Games is a 3-day philanthropic event that takes place annually in the Great Lakes region of Africa, organised by the prestigious NGO Peace and Sport, with the support of National Olympic Committees and International Sport Federations.
It includes trans-border sports events designed to promote peace and reconciliation between 9-15 years-olds from Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Rwanda.
